Our Work

We do more than just remove invasive plant species.

Our mission is to mobilize volunteers to remove invasive plant species and restore ecosystems in North Saanich parks. As well, we strive to educate volunteers, youth and residents about related ecological matters.

We hold invasive plant removal events in numerous parks across the District. In a related effort, we occasionally hold planting events to restore native species.

Our work also involves cleaning up litter and piles of dumped organic debris.

We coordinate and produce ecological studies of the parks.

Let's work together to remove invasive plants from our North Saanich parks and help the forests return to their natural state.
