Meet Doug the Shed

Tools and tarps need a home, and not just the back of someone’s car.

A few volunteers (Mark B., Craig C., Al M., and Tom R.) spent a couple of days in the sun prepping the site and assembling Doug, a place to store our stuff. The shed sits at the back of the parking lot at the District of North Saanich municipal hall. Doug was named in honour of the area’s Douglas fir trees.

Doug the Shed was made possible partly through funding from the Oak Bay Marine Group, as well as individuals who donated monies throughout the year. In addition to providing the site, the District of North Saanich donated labour and materiel.
